Every new business gets everything in Pro through its first 100 paid registrations. At that milestone you choose Pro or Free. Registrations aren't blocked on any plan, nothing you've built is removed, and a season in flight isn't interrupted. Logins aren't people: instructors who receive assignments and offers don't use a login.
The enrops service fee
How does the enrops service fee work?
Families pay a 3% enrops service fee on each registration, included in the price they see from the first screen. Paying by bank lowers it to 2%. The fee has a $1.99 minimum and a maximum of $14.99 by card or $9.99 by bank, per registration. It is refunded to the family whenever the registration is refunded.

Card, debit and wallets pay the listed price. It's charged per registration: three children means three fees, and a payment plan splits one fee across its installments.

What this looks like on both sides of the screen
You set your price. enrops shows you the number families will see, so your flyer, your school's newsletter and your checkout all say the same thing. On a $240 session the fee is $7.20, which is under a dollar a week across a twelve week program and less than families already pay to sign up for a rec league, order a school photo package or hold a birthday party booking.

What do families pay, to the cent?
Below $66.33 the fee is the $1.99 minimum on both card and bank, so no discount line appears. Above that, paying by bank saves families money. From about $500 up, the maximums apply: $14.99 by card, $9.99 by bank.

Where the money goes
A $240 session, paid by card
The family sees one price from the first screen. You pay enrops nothing. Stripe charges its standard processing on the full total, and the rest lands in your own Stripe account.
The price families see first is the price they pay. Research on checkout backs that up: in Baymard Institute's survey of US online shoppers, extra costs such as fees were the most common reason for abandoning a checkout, cited by 40%, and 12% left because they couldn't see the total up front.

Payment plans
You set how many installments and when they fall. The service fee is the same as paying in full, split across the installments. No interest, plan fee or late fee.
Refunds
When you refund a registration, the enrops service fee goes back to the family with it. Sawyer's help center says its booking fee stays with Sawyer when a class is canceled or refunded.

Family credits
Not live yet. Credits that don't expire and that families can cash out on request. When a business cancels a program, the family chooses refund or credit.

Who pays the enrops service fee?
Families pay it by default, included in the price they see from the first screen. You can choose to cover it instead. Turn that on in settings and families see your price with nothing added; the fee then comes out of your payout.
What does enrops cost my business?
You pay enrops $0 per transaction on every plan, unless you choose to cover the service fee for your families. Your only cost is Stripe's standard processing. Pro is $99 a month or $990 a year if you want the time-saving automations.
Why is paying by bank cheaper?
Bank payments cost less to run and carry far less card fraud, so families who pay by bank get a discount: the service fee drops from 3% to 2%. Families see it at the payment step as pay by bank and save.
What happens on a refund?
The enrops service fee is refunded to the family whenever the registration is refunded. Stripe does not return its own processing cost on a refund; that part is Stripe's policy and stays a cost to the business.
Do payment plans cost more?
No. A payment plan carries the same service fee as paying in full, divided across the installments. There is no interest, plan fee or late fee.
Is there a fee on donations?
No service fee on donations, tips, gift add-ons or $0 registrations.
What happens at 100 registrations?
You get full access through your first 100 paid registrations. At that milestone you choose Pro or Free. Registrations aren't blocked on any plan, nothing you've built is removed, and a season in flight isn't interrupted.
Do nonprofits pay differently?
Same pricing. If families pay a fee for their kids to take part, enrops works the same way for a nonprofit as for a business, and donations carry no service fee.
What's included in Free versus Pro?
If a feature produces a registration, it's free. If it only saves your business time, it's Pro. Free covers registration, checkout, payment plans, rosters, waivers, refunds, discount codes and recovery of abandoned registrations.
What do schools, PTOs and parks departments pay?
Nothing. There is no cost to the school, PTO or parks agency. Providers use enrops to run their programs, and businesses with a district or city contract talk to us about Custom.
