Music school management software

Stop losing music families at the signup form.

A parent hears about your group guitar class at pickup. She opens the signup on her phone and finds a PDF, a Venmo handle and a "we'll invoice you." The class loses a seat. enrops gives your group classes, camps and workshops one link where families register, sign the waiver and pay in minutes.

Free for businesses. Live in under 5 minutes.

Built for group classes, school-site programs, camps and workshops. Private-lesson calendars and monthly autopay tuition aren't part of enrops today. See who enrops fits today

Three pains, three fixes

How do music schools register families for group classes?

Most start with a form, a payment app and a spreadsheet to match the two. Registration software puts all of it in one link: a family picks the class, signs the waiver and pays from a phone, and the roster fills itself. On enrops, creating that first registration takes under 5 minutes.

You count class dates on a wall calendar. Every term. Every school.

Pick the district and the school, say the class meets on Mondays, and enrops counts the class dates and shows you the no-school days. Twelve classes or fourteen, you know before you set the price.

You need eight kids to run the class. How many do you have?

Your roster builds itself as families register: names, parent emails, grade and homeroom teacher. The total enrolled sits at the top of the page, so you know your number against your break-even without opening a spreadsheet.

Tuition by Venmo, by check and by "can I pay half now?"

Families pay when they register, by card, wallet or bank. Offer a payment plan. You set how many installments and when they fall, with no interest, plan fee or late fee. The list of who still owes you goes away.

An honest fit check

Who enrops fits in music today

Some music schools should sign up tonight. Some should wait. Here is how to tell which one you are.

Fits today

  • Group classes sold by the term or session: ukulele, guitar, piano lab, choir, early childhood music
  • Music programs you teach at schools, with a schedule built around each school's calendar
  • Summer camps, school-break camps and one-day workshops
  • Ensembles, rock bands and musical theater sold as one season price, paid in full or across installments you set
  • New music schools getting off forms, Venmo and paper

What enrops doesn't do today

Private-lesson calendars with teacher availability and weekly recurring slots.

Monthly autopay tuition that runs all year. A payment plan splits one registration into the installments you set.

Makeup-lesson scheduling.

Skill or level progression tracking.

If private lessons on monthly autopay are most of your revenue, keep the tool that runs them. Put your group classes, camps and workshops on enrops and let each tool do its job. Comparing full systems? Read how to choose music school software.

"OMG I just knocked out setting up like 7 programs and it was so smooth and easy. Plus I see the total enrolled on the top of the page!"

From a music program

What setup felt like for a music program owner.

Jeff Kerestes founded The Ukulele Project. Those are his words from the day he set up his programs on enrops.

enrops was built inside Journey to STEAM, an enrichment company that runs programs at 75+ school sites, has served 2,500+ students and sees 95% of its school partners renew. Different subject, same Tuesday afternoon: parents on phones, rosters somebody needs, tuition to collect.

Nothing to migrate

Start with one class. Keep everything else where it is.

What opens next? A winter group class, a spring break camp, a Saturday workshop. Build that one on enrops and share the link anywhere: your website, your email, a QR code on the flyer. Your lesson calendar and your current tools stay put.

Have these ready and you'll finish in one sitting

1. Your program details: name, dates, price, ages.

2. The bank account you want payouts sent to.

3. Your EIN, or your SSN if you're a sole proprietor. Stripe asks for it to verify your business.

Pricing

Free for businesses. Families see one price.

Families pay a small enrops service fee when they register, included in the price they see first, which is common for kids activities and camps. Your only cost is Stripe's standard processing. Prefer to cover the fee yourself? Turn it on in settings.

A $240 group class: families pay $247.20, or $244.80 when they pay by bank and save. On a payment plan the fee is the same, split across the installments. The price families see first is the price they pay.

Your 12-week group class$240.00
enrops service fee, 3%$7.20
Family pays$247.20
You pay enrops$0.00

The service fee is refunded to the family whenever the registration is refunded.

Straight answers

What is music school management software?

Music school management software is the system a music school uses to register families, collect tuition, keep rosters and schedule classes. Some tools center on private-lesson calendars and monthly billing. enrops centers on registration and payments for group classes, camps, workshops and school-site programs, and it is free for businesses.

How do music schools collect recurring tuition?

Two common ways: monthly autopay through lesson-scheduling software, or tuition by the term. enrops handles tuition by the term. Families pay in full or on a payment plan you set, with no interest, plan fee or late fee. enrops does not run open-ended monthly autopay, so a school built on it should keep its billing tool for that.

How much does music school software cost?

Subscription tools charge the school each month. Jackrabbit Class, which serves music schools, lists plans from $49 a month, tiered by student count. enrops is free for businesses: families pay a 3% enrops service fee, minimum $1.99, included in the price they see first, and your only cost is Stripe's standard processing.

Questions music school owners ask before they sign up

Does enrops schedule private lessons?

No. enrops does not have a private-lesson calendar, teacher availability for lessons or makeup-lesson scheduling. It is built for programs families register for: group classes, camps, workshops and school-site programs. Keep your lesson tool for lessons and run the rest here.

Can families pay tuition monthly?

Families can pay in full or on a payment plan. You set how many installments and when they fall, with no interest, plan fee or late fee. enrops does not run monthly autopay that continues all year.

I teach at schools. Does the schedule know about no-school days?

Yes. Pick the district and the school, choose the day your class meets and the first and last day, and enrops counts the class dates and shows the no-school days in between.

Can I take recital or showcase sign-ups?

If families pay a fee to take part, set it up like any other registration: name it, price it, share the link. There is no service fee on donations, tips, gift add-ons or $0 registrations, so a free sign-up costs families nothing extra.

What does it cost my school?

enrops is free for businesses. You pay enrops $0 per transaction on every plan, unless you choose to cover the service fee for your families. Your only cost is Stripe's standard processing. Pro is $99 a month if you want the time-saving automations.

Do I have to move my whole school over?

No. Start with one class or one camp and keep your current tools for everything else. There is nothing to migrate. Build the next thing that opens, share the new link, and decide from there.

Do I need Stripe?

Yes. enrops uses Stripe so payments go straight to your own Stripe account and pay out to your bank. If you already have Stripe, you connect the account you have. If you don't, you create one during setup. Have your phone nearby, plus your bank account and your EIN, or your SSN if you're a sole proprietor.

Your next group class could open today.

Create it, connect Stripe, share the link. Families register and pay in one place, and the money lands in your own Stripe account.
