Martial arts programs in schools and community centers

The school club is the easiest money you make and the hardest to administer.

enrops is registration and payment software for the school-based and community-center side of martial arts: after-school karate clubs, community center sessions, school-break camps and summer camps. It sells terms, sessions and camps. It does not run open-ended monthly membership billing that renews until a family cancels.

You teach the dojo class at 5:30 and the school club at 3:15. The dojo side runs on your membership system. The school side runs on a paper form, a folder of checks and a text thread with the office.

An honest fit check

Does enrops replace dojo membership software?

No. enrops has no monthly membership billing that renews until a family cancels, no belt or rank tracking, no attendance check-in and no contract management. It sells terms, sessions and camps. If your dojo runs on memberships, keep that system and put your school and community programs here.

Fits today

  • After-school martial arts clubs sold by the term at a school site
  • Community center, parks and rec and church sessions sold by the session
  • School-break camps, no-school day camps and summer camps
  • Intro courses and beginner sessions sold as a fixed number of classes
  • Seminars, belt-test days and one-off workshops families pay to attend

What enrops doesn't do today

Monthly membership billing that renews until a family cancels. A payment plan splits one registration into the installments you set.

Belt and rank progression tracking.

Attendance check-in at the door.

Membership contracts, freezes and cancellations.

Pro shop and gear sales.

Most school-based martial arts businesses run both models at once. Let the membership system keep the dojo. Put the term-based and camp-based programs on enrops, where the school calendar, the roster per building and the family payment plan already work.

The school side, done properly

How do I take sign-ups for an after-school martial arts club?

Create one program per school and per term. Pick the district and the school, set the club day, and the session dates are calculated around no-school days. Set the price, add your waiver, publish, and share the link with that school's families. The roster fills itself.

Every school wants a different start date and a different price.

One site runs eight weeks, another runs twelve, and the parks department wants its own number. Build each as its own program and each carries its own dates, its own price and its own roster.

Unlimited sites and partner schools on every plan, including Free. No per-location pricing.

The waiver has to be signed before the first bow.

A martial arts waiver that lives in a folder is a waiver you can't find when you need it. Yours is signed at registration, in wording you can edit, by every family before anyone steps on the mat.

Every registration lands on that site's roster: name, family email, grade and homeroom teacher, with the live enrolled count at the top.

Set up with our team today: roster sends to your partner sites, instructor offers and assignments, contractor instructor pay through Stripe, and authorized pickup and aftercare dismissal.

Can families pay monthly?

They can pay one registration across installments you set, with no interest, plan fee or late fee. A twelve-week club can be billed in three payments a month apart. What enrops does not do is keep charging after the term ends, the way a membership does. The plan finishes when the program is paid.

What about camps and no-school days?

Each camp is its own registration with its own date, price and roster. A no-school day camp is one of the fastest things you can open: name it, price it, share the link the week before. Sibling discounts run on discount codes you create.

The full walkthrough is on how it works. For the summer side, see enrops for camps. If you teach at several buildings, enrops for mobile programs covers running a link and a roster per site.

Have these ready and you'll finish in one sitting

1. Your program details: name, dates, price, ages.

2. The bank account you want payouts sent to.

3. Your EIN, or your SSN if you're a sole proprietor. Stripe asks for it to verify your business.

Pricing

How much does it cost to run the school side?

enrops is free for businesses. Families pay a small enrops service fee when they register, 3% of the program price, included in the price they see first, which is common for kids activities and camps. Your only cost is Stripe's standard processing. Pro is $99 a month.

A $145 ten-week club: families pay $149.35, or $147.90 when they pay by bank and save. Prefer to cover the fee yourself? Turn it on in settings and it comes out of your payout.

Your 10-week school club$145.00
enrops service fee, 3%$4.35
Family pays by card$149.35
Family pays by bank$147.90
You pay enrops$0.00

The service fee is refunded to the family whenever the registration is refunded.

Questions martial arts owners ask

Does enrops do monthly membership billing?

No. enrops sells terms, sessions and camps. There is no open-ended monthly billing that renews until a family cancels, and no contract, freeze or cancellation handling. Keep your membership system for the dojo and run the school and camp side here.

Does it track belts and rank?

No. There is no belt or rank progression in enrops, and no attendance check-in at the door. Track rank where you track it today.

So what should I actually put on enrops?

The programs families register for by the term or the week: after-school clubs, community center sessions, parks and rec contracts, school-break camps, summer camps, intro courses, seminars and belt-test days.

Can families spread the cost of a term?

Yes. You decide how many installments and when they fall, with no interest, plan fee or late fee. Families on a plan pay the same enrops service fee as families who pay in full, split across the installments.

Can I charge different prices at different schools?

Yes. Price is set on the program, so every school, community center and parks contract can carry its own number in one account. There is no per-location pricing on any plan, including Free.

What does it cost me?

enrops is free for businesses. You pay enrops $0 per transaction on every plan, unless you choose to cover the service fee for your families. Your only cost is Stripe's standard processing. Pro is $99 a month if you want the time-saving automations.
