Group tutoring registration software

Eight kids, one table, twelve weeks and a waiting family you can't seat.

enrops is registration and payment software for academic enrichment and tutoring delivered on site at schools, in small groups. It sells a term, a session block or a camp week to a group. It does not schedule one-to-one hourly appointments, and it does not bill by the hour.

Winter term starts in two weeks. You have a reading group at Lincoln, a math group on Thursdays, a homework club at the middle school, and a principal who wants the enrollment numbers by Friday.

An honest fit check

Is enrops right for a tutoring business?

It depends on how you sell. If families buy a term, a block of sessions or a camp week for a group, enrops fits and is free for businesses. If families book one-to-one hours against a tutor's calendar and pay by the hour, enrops is the wrong tool. There is no appointment calendar in it.

Fits today

  • Small group reading, math and writing labs sold by the term
  • Academic enrichment delivered on site at a school or community center
  • Homework clubs and study halls families register for
  • Test prep courses sold as a fixed number of sessions
  • School-break and summer academic camps

What enrops doesn't do today

One-to-one hourly scheduling against a tutor's availability calendar.

Hourly billing, session packages drawn down hour by hour, or tutor-by-tutor booking pages.

Assessment scores, progress reports and parent portals for academic results.

Homework assignment and lesson content.

Plenty of tutoring businesses run both. If one-to-one is most of your revenue, keep the booking tool that runs it and put your group programs, school contracts and academic camps on enrops. Two tools, each doing its own job, and nothing to migrate.

The group side, done properly

How do I take registrations for group tutoring at a school?

Create one program per group, per site and per term. Pick the district and the school, set the day, and the session dates are calculated around no-school days. Set the price, add your waiver, publish, and share the link with that school's families. The roster fills itself.

Eight seats means eight, and the ninth family needs an answer.

Small group is the whole product. Past the number you set, the group stops working.

Decide the number you can teach to and watch the live enrolled count at the top of the roster. Close the registration when you're full, then open the next group on another day.

The school wants the list. The family wants a payment plan.

Every registration lands on that site's roster: name, family email, grade and homeroom teacher, with the live enrolled count at the top. That is the answer the front office is asking for.

Families who need to spread a term across a few payments do it at checkout, with no interest, plan fee or late fee, and the same enrops service fee split across the installments.

What if a school or district pays instead of families?

That happens often in academic enrichment, and it is a contract conversation before it is a software one. Schools, PTOs and parks agencies pay nothing to use enrops. Book a demo and our team will set the arrangement up with you, including roster sends back to the building.

Is tutoring the same as enrichment?

Not quite. Tutoring targets a specific academic gap. Enrichment adds something the school day doesn't cover. A lot of businesses sell both, and the registration, the roster and the payment work the same either way.

Have these ready and you'll finish in one sitting

1. Your program details: name, dates, price, ages.

2. The bank account you want payouts sent to.

3. Your EIN, or your SSN if you're a sole proprietor. Stripe asks for it to verify your business.

Pricing

How much does group tutoring software cost?

enrops is free for businesses. Families pay a small enrops service fee when they register, 3% of the program price, included in the price they see first, which is common for kids activities and camps. Your only cost is Stripe's standard processing. Pro is $99 a month.

A $220 ten-week group: families pay $226.60, or $224.40 when they pay by bank and save. Prefer to cover the fee yourself? Turn it on in settings and it comes out of your payout.

Your 10-week small group$220.00
enrops service fee, 3%$6.60
Family pays by card$226.60
Family pays by bank$224.40
You pay enrops$0.00

The service fee is refunded to the family whenever the registration is refunded.

Questions tutoring owners ask

Can I book one-to-one tutoring hours in enrops?

No. There is no appointment calendar, no tutor availability booking and no hourly billing. enrops sells a group program: a term, a block of sessions or a camp week, at one price, to a roster.

Can I sell a package of sessions?

You can sell a fixed block, like eight sessions on Tuesdays at one price. What enrops does not do is draw a package down hour by hour as a family books time.

Can I cap a group at six?

Decide the number you can teach to and watch the live enrolled count at the top of the roster. Close the registration when you reach it, then open another group on another day. A list of families waiting for the next opening is set up with our team today.

Can families pay across a few payments?

Yes. You decide how many installments and when they fall, with no interest, plan fee or late fee. Families on a plan pay the same enrops service fee as families who pay in full, split across the installments.

Does enrops track progress or test scores?

No. There are no assessment scores, progress reports or academic parent portals in enrops. Keep the assessment tool you use. enrops handles registration, payment, rosters, waivers and family communication.

What does it cost me?

enrops is free for businesses. You pay enrops $0 per transaction on every plan, unless you choose to cover the service fee for your families. Your only cost is Stripe's standard processing. Schools, PTOs and parks agencies pay nothing at all.
