Art class registration software
You're wiping down tables and doing math on materials at the same time.
Art class registration software takes the sign-up, the materials fee and the waiver in one link, then tells you how many kids to buy clay for. enrops does that for art and pottery classes, mobile art studios and art camps, whether you teach in your own room or in somebody else's cafeteria.
Six kids confirmed, two maybes, and the kiln is booked either way. The supply order goes in Thursday, and on Saturday somebody arrives in a white shirt because nobody told the family to send old clothes.

The three things art costs you
How do I charge a materials fee for a kids art class?
Put it in the price families see. Set the class price with materials included, then say in the description what the fee covers: clay, canvas, glazes, firing, the take-home piece. Families see one number from the first screen, and that number is what they pay.
Materials are the difference between a good term and a bad one.
A separate materials fee collected on day one is a fee half your families forget to bring.
Price the class with materials in it. The builder shows you exactly what families will pay under the price field, so the number on your flyer, your link and your confirmation email is the same number. Set that price against what the supplies actually cost per kid.

An art class has a hard ceiling. Past it, the room stops working and so do you.

Messy day, photo day, sensitive-skin day.
Ask it at registration and you'll never chase it. Add your own questions to the form: old clothes, smock at home, latex or dust sensitivities, whether this family wants their child's work photographed.
Your waiver is signed before anyone walks in, in wording you can edit, so the kiln, the tools and the photo release are covered by the time the first family arrives.

How do art camps and single workshops work?
The same way a class does. One registration per camp week or per workshop, with its own date, its own price and its own roster. Run a summer of week-long camps as separate registrations and families pick the weeks they want. Payment plans work on camps too.
What if I teach art in schools and community centers?
Create one program per site. For school sites, pick the district and the school and the session dates are calculated around no-school days. Each site keeps its own link, its own price and its own roster. Unlimited sites on every plan, with no per-location pricing.
More on that at enrops for mobile programs. The full setup walkthrough is on how it works, and how to set camp and class prices covers pricing a class where materials are a real cost.
Have these ready and you'll finish in one sitting
1. Your program details: name, dates, price, ages.
2. The bank account you want payouts sent to.
3. Your EIN, or your SSN if you're a sole proprietor. Stripe asks for it to verify your business.

Pricing
How much does art class software cost?
enrops is free for businesses. Families pay a small enrops service fee when they register, 3% of the program price, included in the price they see first, which is common for kids activities and camps. Your only cost is Stripe's standard processing. Pro is $99 a month.
A $165 six-week studio: families pay $169.95, or $168.30 when they pay by bank and save. Prefer to cover the fee yourself? Turn it on in settings and it comes out of your payout.
The service fee is refunded to the family whenever the registration is refunded.

Should the materials fee be separate or included?
Included, in almost every case. One price is easier to advertise, easier to pay and easier to refund. Say in the class description exactly what the fee covers so families can see where the money goes.
Can I cap the class at twelve?
Decide the number you can teach to and watch the live enrolled count at the top of the roster as families register. Close the registration when you reach it. A list of families waiting for the next opening is set up with our team today.
Can I collect a photo release?
Yes. Your waiver wording is yours to edit, so a photo release can sit inside it, and you can add a question to the registration form for families who would rather their child's work not be photographed.
Can families pay an art camp across a few payments?
Yes. You decide how many installments and when they fall, with no interest, plan fee or late fee. Families on a plan pay the same enrops service fee as families who pay in full, split across the installments.
What happens if I have to cancel a session?
Refund from the registration record and the enrops service fee goes back to the family with it. Family credits are not live yet, so today a cancelled session is handled as a refund or a change you make and tell families about.
Do I need Stripe?
Yes. enrops uses Stripe so payments go straight to your own Stripe account and pay out to your bank. If you already have Stripe, you connect the account you have. If you don't, you create one during setup. Have your bank account and your EIN ready, or your SSN if you're a sole proprietor.

Price the class with materials in it, add your waiver, share the link. Families register and pay in one place, and the money lands in your own Stripe account.
