Kids cooking class registration software

You're in the grocery store at 8pm guessing how many kids show up Thursday.

Kids cooking class registration software takes the sign-up, the allergy questions and the payment in one link, then gives you the headcount you shop from. enrops does that for kids cooking classes and camps, in your own kitchen or in a school cafeteria you borrow twice a week.

Fourteen registered, one allergy you heard about in a hallway and one you didn't. Everything gets bought twice or not enough, and the thing that keeps you up is the one nobody wrote down.

The two things food adds

How do I collect allergies for a kids cooking class?

Ask on the registration form, before the family pays. Add your own questions: food allergies, severity, whether the child carries an auto-injector, and dietary needs like vegetarian, halal, kosher or gluten free. Every answer arrives with the registration, so nothing reaches you by text the night before.

The allergy question can't be optional.

A hallway conversation is not a record. Make the question required and every family answers it before they pay, in writing, attached to the child.

Your waiver is signed at the same moment, in wording you can edit, so the food handling terms your insurer wants are agreed to before the first class.

Your shopping list is your roster.

Ingredients per kid times the number of kids, and the number of kids has to be right on Wednesday night.

The live enrolled count sits at the top of the roster, with the dietary answers beside each name. Pull it up on your phone in the aisle. When a family registers on Tuesday, the count moves on Tuesday.

Set up with our team today: roster sends to your partner sites, instructor offers and assignments, and authorized pickup and aftercare dismissal.

Ingredients are a real cost, so price them in.

Put the ingredient cost in the class price and say in the description what it covers. Families see one number from the first screen, and that number is what they pay.

Families who need to spread it out pay across installments you set, with no interest, plan fee or late fee, and the same enrops service fee split across them.

What if I teach cooking in schools and community kitchens?

Create one program per site. For school sites, pick the district and the school and the session dates are calculated around no-school days. Each site keeps its own link, its own price and its own roster, so the cafeteria class and the community kitchen class never mix. Unlimited sites on every plan.

How do cooking camps work?

One registration per camp week, with its own dates, its own price and its own roster. Run a summer of themed weeks as separate registrations and families pick the ones they want. Sibling discounts run on discount codes you create and share.

More on the traveling side at enrops for mobile programs, and the camp side at enrops for camps. The full setup walkthrough is on how it works.

Have these ready and you'll finish in one sitting

1. Your program details: name, dates, price, ages.

2. The bank account you want payouts sent to.

3. Your EIN, or your SSN if you're a sole proprietor. Stripe asks for it to verify your business.

Pricing

How much does cooking class software cost?

enrops is free for businesses. Families pay a small enrops service fee when they register, 3% of the program price, included in the price they see first, which is common for kids activities and camps. Your only cost is Stripe's standard processing. Pro is $99 a month.

A $135 six-week class: families pay $139.05, or $137.70 when they pay by bank and save. Prefer to cover the fee yourself? Turn it on in settings and it comes out of your payout.

Your 6-week class, ingredients included$135.00
enrops service fee, 3%$4.05
Family pays by card$139.05
Family pays by bank$137.70
You pay enrops$0.00

The service fee is refunded to the family whenever the registration is refunded.

Questions cooking program owners ask

Can I make the allergy question required?

Yes. Add your own questions to the registration form and require the ones that matter. Families answer before they pay, so the allergy record exists before the child walks into your kitchen.

Where do the answers go?

They arrive with the registration and sit with that child on the program's roster, next to the name, the family email and the grade. Pull the roster up on a phone while you shop.

Should ingredients be a separate fee?

Price them into the class in almost every case. One number is easier to advertise, easier to pay and easier to refund. Say in the description what the price covers so families can see where the money goes.

Can families pay a camp week across a few payments?

Yes. You decide how many installments and when they fall, with no interest, plan fee or late fee. Families on a plan pay the same enrops service fee as families who pay in full, split across the installments.

Can I run the same class at three sites?

Yes. One program per site, each with its own link, dates, price and roster. Unlimited sites and partner schools on every plan, including Free, with no per-location pricing.

Do I need Stripe?

Yes. enrops uses Stripe so payments go straight to your own Stripe account and pay out to your bank. If you already have Stripe, you connect the account you have. If you don't, you create one during setup. Have your bank account and your EIN ready, or your SSN if you're a sole proprietor.

Your next class could open today.

Write the allergy questions, price the ingredients in, share the link. Families register and pay in one place, and the money lands in your own Stripe account.
